Besides the hefty loans they have waiting for them to pay off, they are constantly bombarded to buy food, clothes, or electronics. Well, maybe not all college students are entirely broke but many struggles. Look on the bright side! There are many ways college students can save money. Did you know that many businesses and companies offer discounts and free stuff to college students? Well, they do! Here is just a short list of many of the awesome deals you can qualify for as a broke college kid:

1. Amazon offers Amazon prime for students. This entails a 6-month prime trial with free two-day shipping on many purchases. After the 6-month trial period, you will receive discounted prices on a multitude of items, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows, access to hundreds of playlists through Prime Music, and access to unlimited photo storage with Prime Photos for just $6.49 per month.

2. Spotify premium for students is another great deal. For the first three months, it will cost you $0.99 per month and then $4.99 per month after the three-month trial expires. Premium for students includes playing any song on Spotify at any time, Hulu with limited commercials, and Showtime.

3. Apple offers half-price music and back-to-school education pricing. If you buy a Mac or an iPad pro, they gift you a pair of beats. This is such a sweet deal especially considering that having a high-quality laptop or computer is a necessity to surviving in college.

4. Many car insurance companies offer discounts for students, especially if you receive good grades. State Farm, Country, All-State, and Geico are among the many.

5. The student discount club through FedEx will allow you to receive 20-30% off envelopes and packages. All you need if your student ID card. This can become very handy for students far from home that need to send packages back to their house.

6. If you are a bookworm, this one will satisfy you. At Barnes and Noble, students are eligible for free shipping and up to 30% off new textbooks, up to 90% off used textbooks, and renting books with free returns. They also have a buyback program to receive funds on books you no longer need.

7. Levi's offers a 30% discount for college students as well as free shipping on online orders. Look good while going to class!
