2006 Volleyball Preview

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Finishing 2005 with a winning season, the Panthers look to the future. Graduating four seniors, the Panthers reload with an impressive freshman class. Seniors Sonya Lopez, Heidi Woods, Sara Skibinski and Carissa Garman will be missed, but there is excitement in the air.Returning for the Panthers are sophomores Jessica Strack, Jessica Westover, and all conference libero Kerry Hammer.The junior class will include Jill Colclasure, Kristen Meminger, and our 2005 MVP Laura Alo.Rosie Miller will be our only senior and provide leadership at the setting position.The freshman class includes middle blockers Marsha Marsland and Susan Githinji. Setters Kristen Donahue and Mandy Goff also join the team along with outside hitters Bethany Yoder and Christy Dashiell. Added depth comes from our lone transfer Heather Varnon. She comes to us from Samford University in Alabama.
