Published: April 13, 2021
Are you ready to rock?AgapeFest is pleased to announce the 2011, 35th Anniversary main stage lineup.
Here is a word from AgapeFest student director Chris Emanuel:
It took us 35 years, but we have put together the best AgapeFest lineup yet. Headlining AgapeFest 2011 will be Third Day and Needtobreathe with support from Hawk Nelson, Tenth Avenue North, Lecrae and more. Sammy Adebiyi and Lecrae will speak at the festival. Tickets are available for purchase here at iTickets.com.
Returning this year will be festival favorites Remedy Drive, Eleventyseven, Philmont, and Random Hero.
Coming to AgapeFest for the first time this year will be Group1Crew, Sidewalk Prophets, Downhere, Chris August, and VOTA.
Greenville College alumni bands Photoside Cafe and Fundamental Elements will be returning to the lineup this year along with the help of current Greenville College students, Clayton Jones Band. Clayton and his band won our Battle of the Bands last year after a tough battle with News From Verona who will also be returning to this year's festival as part of our main stage lineup.
We will announce more information about our Coffee House, Second Stage, and Battle of the Bands lineups at a later date.
AgapeFest 2011 SpeakersAfter many brainstorming sessions on how to improve the speaking portion of our festival, we had a "Eureka!" moment. We booked this amazing tour package called The 180 Tour for Friday night, and we asked our good friend Lecrae to share his story on Saturday night. Both are engaging for middle school, high school, and college students.
On Friday night, The 180 Tour will be making a unique stop at AgapeFest. Vota will perform and Sammy Adebiyi will be our guest speaker. The 180 Tour challenges students to think about who they are today, as they prepare for tomorrow. When we heard about the tour message, we jumped on booking them.
On Saturday night, the one and only Lecrae is going to take a break in his set to share his story. We typically book national speakers to come speak, but this year we wanted to try something new and let our guests hear the story behind one of the most popular artists in Christian music. This unique set from Lecrae will not be one to miss.
