Alice in Wonderland at the Factory Theatre

Published: April 13, 2021

Lewis Carroll's classic children's story, Alice in Wonderland, comes to life at the Greenville College Factory Theatre April 14-17. Alice, the young heroine, takes a tumble down an enchanted rabbit hole to an off-kilter world of mock turtles, dancing flowers, punctual rabbits, and mad tea parties.

It is a charming world where playing cards hold court and nothing is as it seems. Whimsy and wordplay are the order of the day in this imaginative musical adaptation of a favorite of generations of children, adults, and psychoanalysts! This version is just good, clean fun that won't scare children.

Audience members will meet their favorite characters such as Alice, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, the King and Queen of Hearts, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Cheshire Cat, and many more. In the land of wonder and curiosity, the characters will sing and dance their way into the hearts of those willing to use their imagination. An added bonus is that it is in 3D-no glasses required!

This show is sure to surprise and delight all ages with drama, music, dance, and puppetry. Performances are at 7:30pm on April 14, 15, and 16. There are two performances on Saturday, April 17 at 10:00am and 2:00pm.

Tickets are available for only $5 at Jo's Java and Watson's Drugstore.
