The 46-voice Greenville College Choir and 20-voice Chamber Singers will perform their Home Concert at the Greenville Free Methodist Church (1367 East State Route 140) on Sunday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. The choirs recently returned from a 10-day spring tour, performing in six states including stops in Chicago (IL), Toledo (OH), Gettysburg (PA), Princeton (NJ), Washington D.C. and Indianapolis (IN). This year's tour program, entitled "Kingdom Come," features diverse selections from South Africa, Germany, England, France, and America, composed over a period of 400 years.

Additional recent appearances include a concert at The Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis earlier this month and a performance with the Boston Camerata and the Cathedral and Archdiocesan Choirs at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis in November, 2009. In 2008 the Greenville Choir performed at the American Choral Directors Association Central Division Convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan and went on a concert tour of Hungary, Romania, and Austria. Dr. Jeffrey Wilson , Director of Choral Studies at Greenville College, is conductor of both the Choir and Chamber Singers.

Nursery care will be provided at the home concert and a free-will offering will be taken to assist with the choir's tour expenses. For more information about this Home Concert visit the Greenville FMC online or call the Greenville College Music Department Office at 618.664.6561.
