Greenville College Choir Announces 2009

Under the direction of Dr. Jeff Wilson, the Greenville College Choir begins its 83rd concert season. This season is Director Jeff Wilson's 14th with the college choir. This year, the group is made up of 50 undergraduate students, representative of most of the departments and majors in the college. The GC Choir has a rich history and continues to "raise the bar" year after year. In 2008 the choir was invited to perform at the American Choral Directors Association Central Division Convention in Grand Rapids, MI. They toured Eastern and Central Europe in March of that same year. The Greenville College Chamber Singers have been invited to perform at the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Conference in Peoria, IL in January, 2010. Both the Choir and the Chamber Singers have been invited to perform with the Boston Camerata and the Cathedral Choirs at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis in November, 2009.
