Greenville College Hosted Bass-Mollett Community Forum October 19

On Monday, October 19 Greenville College invited the Greenville community to a Bass-Mollett Community Forum at 8:00 pm.The eventtook place in the Krober Room of the Armington Center on the Greenville College Campus.

Sam Garrett of Greenville College provided a brief update regarding what has taken place in the last 90 days and what is planned over the next 90 days. The 25 community membersin attendance were be asked to share ideas, concerns and thoughts about the best use for this historic building. GC began cleaning, clearing and evaluating Bass-Mollett house in late September. Students, coaches, faculty and staff volunteered their time to help with the efforts removing carpet, cleaning grounds, removing debris and assessing the vandalism and state of the flooring and craftsmanship. The work day on September 22 and the community forum on October 19 are both steps in the larger Greenville College plan to determine the highest and best use of this historic Greenville landmark.
