Greenville College Offers New Online Programs for the New Year

Published: April 13, 2021

"Get a Better Education" and "Get a Better Job" were among the most popular New Year's resolutions recently listed on USA.gov. Greenville College will help people do both with several new online programs scheduled to begin in 2010.

Greenville College's organizational leadership program , intended for working adults, will be offered online for the first time in April. The program allows students to complete a bachelor's degree and often leads to career advancement opportunities.

"We are building on the success of our face-to-face courses, and working hard to ensure the same quality instruction for online students," said Dr. Steve Holler, director of organizational leadership.

Greenville College's School of Education will offer graduate courses and two endorsement programs online in 2010 targeted at Illinois teachers. Online courses for the master's degree in teacher leadership begin March 1. Middle school and drivers education endorsements will be available online this summer.

"Teachers value quality and convenience when searching for ways to reach their professional goals," said Dr. Vickie Cook, dean of the school of education and director of online learning. "We are able to meet their needs by offering online programs that prepare teachers for excellence in education throughout Illinois."

Greenville College will continue to provide online dual enrollment courses for qualified and motivated high school students who hope to get an early start on college. The school is also planning a master's level management degree that will be offered primarily online as early as fall 2010.
