Greenville College to Host Hitting and Pitching Camps This Month

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The Greenville College baseball program has announced that it will be hosting the Greenville College hitting and pitching camps to be headed by Lynn Carlson, 13th year head coach of the program.The hitting camp will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to noon and will serve all high school hitters. The pitching camp will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to noon and will serve all high school pitchers.Lynn Carlson, head coach and a former professional pitcher, will be the primary instructor in the pitching camp. Greenville College assistant coach Andrew Noble will be the primary instructor for the hitting camp.The two camps will be held in the Briner Training Center of the John M. Strahl Athletic Complex, one mile south of the Greenville College campus in Greenville, Ill. The camps feature a low player to instructor ratio, so each player will receive individualized instruction as well as video analysis. The cost of either the hitting or pitching camp is $45. The cost for attending both camps is $80.
