Greenville College Women’s Indoor Track & Field Competes at Eastern Illinois Mega Meet

CHARLESTON, Ill. Thewomen's indoortrack and field teamtraveled to the campus of Eastern Illinois to kickoff their 2011 indoor track and field season at the EIU Mega Meet on Saturday at Lantz Fieldhouse. Rochanda Harris was Greenville's top performer with a first place finish in the weight throw.

Harris, a senior from East St. Louis, Ill.,posted athrow of 16.94 meters (55-7) to claim the first spot. Her season opening mark ranks her third in all of NCAA Division III in the women's weight throw.

The Lady Pantherswill next travel to Bloomington, Ill., on Saturday, Jan. 29 to compete at Illinois Wesleyan at 10a.m.
