Greenville University Announces Academic Planning for Future
Published: April 13, 2021
Academic Planning for 2020 and BeyondFor more than 125 years, Greenville University has empowered students for lives of character and service by offering excellent educational experiences that prepare graduates for meaningful lives, both personally and professionally. Periodically, we adjust the courses and majors we offer to ensure we meet students changing needs.
Some Programs Changing for Future StudentsIn 2019, we explored shifts in student demographics and interests. Some programs saw a decline in student interest, while other majors experienced growth. These findingscoupled with analysis of our strengths, market trends, and moreprompted the University to realign its academic structure. The new structure reflects an aim to meet future students needs by ensuring the delivery of in-demand programs while continuing to deliver high-quality education. Changes will primarily affect new students joining us in Fall 2020 or later. We have ensured that all current students will have the opportunity to graduate with their declared majors.
