Greenville's Alex Holmes Selected as UMAC Football South Division Special Teams Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Alex Holmes, a senior defensive lineman from Huntsville, Ala., was named as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's special teams player of the week for games of Saturday, Sept. 19.

In Greenville's narrow 19-18 win over Rose-Hulman, Holmes blocked an extra point with seven seconds remaining in the game, allowing Greenville to close out their victory.

Holmes also collected four solo tackles which included one quarterback sack and another tackle for a loss of yards.

Greenville's record improved to 2-1 with the win.
