Greenville's Jumaane Bey Recognized as NCCAA Football Student-Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Junior linebacker Jumaane Bey of Victorville, Calif., has earned the National Christian College Athletic Association football student-athlete of the week award for the week of August 31-September 6.

Bey, an outside linebacker, recorded two interceptions of which he ran one back for a touchdown. His touchdown return gave Greenville a 14-0 lead as the Panthers topped Washington University of St. Louis for the first time in school history with a 17-7 victory on Saturday.

The Greenville football program opened their season with a record of 1-0.
