Greenville's Jumaane Bey Tabbed UMAC Football South Division Defensive Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Jumaane Bey, a junior linebacker from Victorville, Calif., was named as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's defensive player of the week for games of Saturday, Sept. 5.

Bey made a game-changing play for Greenville in the Panthers' 17-7 win over Washington University in St. Louis. Bey's 25-yard interception return for a touchdown,one of twointerceptions on the day, put Greenville up 14-0 midway through the third quarter.

The Panthers defeated Washington for the first time in school history and opened their season 1-0.
