Greenville's Reid Ackerman Named UMAC Football South Division Special Teams Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Reid Ackerman, a junior kicker from Newton, Ill., was named as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's special teams player of the week for games of Saturday, Sept. 5.

Ackerman helped Greenville to a 17-7 win over Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday, making ahis only field goal attemptand two PAT attempts. Ackerman's 30-yard boot with 1:36 left in the game clinched the victory for the Panthers.

The Panthers defeated Washington for the first time in school history and opened their season 1-0.
