Greenville’s Shanna Ambuehl Races to SLIAC Women’s Runner of the Week Honors

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville College's Shanna Ambuehl, a junior from Kinmundy, Ill. (South Central), has been named the SLIAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of September 28 - October 4.

Ambuehl, who was competing in only her second career race, finished the 5K course at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic with a time of 19:34.98 to place 21st out of 298 total runners. She also led Greenville to a fourth place finish overall in the Blue Division, which had 35 teams competing.
