The girls of 2^nd West Oak, a residence hall on Greenville Campus, are sponsoring an awareness event and benefit concert Friday, May 7^th, at 7 p.m., in support of their initiative to build a home for a Burundian war widow. The concert will take place in the campus Blackroom, and will feature West Oak's proudest musicians.

The girls of 2^nd West Oak were convicted by Jesus' call to love the weak and oppressed members of society early on in the semester. They set out in search of a way that they could provide Greenville College with an opportunity to be love to the "least of these." Through this event, they hope to shelter a widow, advocate for social outcasts, spread Christ's glory, and be a true example and manifestation of love.

In addition to musical entertainment, the evening will also offer baked treats, grilling, badminton, handmade jewelry, and t-shirt designing on the Q. Come to the event with three dollars, a blank t-shirt, and an open heart. If 200 people participate, the group will have raised enough money to provide the widow with a new home.

Be a part of the effort to drastically improve this woman's life. Answer God's call to love the "least of these."
