Luis Diaz Earns UMAC Special Teams Player of the Week Award

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- Freshman Luis Diaz of Santa Ana, Calif., has been awarded the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) special teams player of the week award for games of Saturday, Sept. 11.

Diaz was two-for-three on field goals in Greenville's 41-35 win over Anderson University on Saturday.

He also had 116 punt yards and averaged 38.7 yards per punt. Two of his three punts were inside the 20-yard line and his longest of the day was 50 yards.

He also had eight kickoffs with an average of 61.4 yards per kick.
