Men's volleyball drops three set match at Benedictine

LISLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team dropped their contest at Benedictine on Friday as they fell 25-14, 25-23, 25-21 in three sets. Daniel Bilinski produced 14 kills for Greenville.

Greenville's first set was rough as the Panthers hit at a negative .077 rate with eight kills and 10 errors in 26 attacks. The Panthers rebounded in the second set with 15 kills and just six errors in 26 attacks for a hitting percentage of nearly 35 percent. Greenville closed the match with 12 kills and seven errors in 35 attacks in the final set.

Nicolas Bilinski added nine kills for Greenville, and Johnny Milabu put down seven kills.

Tanner Smith collected 29 assists.

The Greenville defensive efforts were led by Andrew Johnson with nine digs. Smith had two block assists.

The Panthers (5-5) face Dominican in River Forest on Saturday.
