GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team improved their record with a pair of wins on Tuesday night. Greenville won their first MCVL match in program history with a 3-0 win over Fontbonne and then capped the night with a 2-0 win over Missouri Baptist's JV.
Daniel Bilinski posted 18 kills in his 37 attack attempts to lead Greenville's offense in the win against Fontbonne. Bilinski and Andrew Johnson had 10 digs.
Nicolas Bilinski provided three solo blocks and one block assist.
Tanner Smith tallied 40 assists.
The Panthers hit at an overall rate of .276 in the 25-15, 29-27, 27-25 win.
In the second match, Greenville got another 13 kills from Daniel Bilinski as they rolled 25-22, 25-18 in a two set win over the JV squad from Missouri Baptist.
Bilinski and Tanner Smith led the defense with eight digs, and Smith posted 20 assists.
The Panthers (7-6, 1-4 MCVL) return to action Friday against Rust at 7 p.m.
