Men's volleyball sweeps by Marian

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team proved that they have entered the MCVL as a force to be reckoned with as they gained a 25-23, 25-18, 25-18 victory over Marian on Saturday.

The Panthers hit at a .382 rate as they had 39 kills and 10 errors in 76 attacks. They posted a match high .478 hitting rate in the second set and closed the match with a .455 rate in the third set.

Nicolas Bilinski led Greenville in kills with 12 in the contest. Daniel Bilinski was right behind Nicolas with 11 in the match.

On the defensive side of the net, Nicolas Bilinski had two solo blocks, and Kyle Ward added two block assists. Andrew Johnson provided 10 digs.

Tanner Smith totaled 33 assists.

The Panthers (12-9, 4-5 MCVL) face Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday.
