Men's Indoor Track and Field Places Third at Illinois Wesleyan; White Wins 55

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The men's track and field team competed at Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday where they finished in third place among the competing 12 teams. Sprinter Brian White led Greenville's efforts as he placed first in the 55-meter dash in 6.48 seconds.

Greenville totaled 77 points on the day, third behind Illinois Wesleyan and Lincoln. In addition to White's first place effort, the Panthers earned one second place, two third place, five fourth place, two fifth place, three sixth place, and one eight place marks.

Earning second in his event was Bruce Gray in the 55-meter dash (6.64 seconds). Third place marks were posted by Josh Dees, 800-meter run (1:58.37); and Josh Kuusisto, weight throw (15.71 meters).

The men return to action on Saturday, Feb. 4, when they travel to Illinois College.
