Men's Indoor Track Places 10th at NCCAA Championships

MARION, Ind.-- The GC Men's Indoor Track and Field team traveled to Indiana Wesleyan University to compete in the NCCAA Championships. Josh Kuusisto placed first in the Weight Throw, making him the top finisher for Greenville.

Kuusisto threw 17.22m to make him the NCCAA Champion in Weight Throw.

Bruce Gray was also impressive for GC, finishing insecond place in the 60 meter dash, with a timeof 6.87 and inthird in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.89.

The Greenville 4x200 Meter Relay team, made up of Josh Garcia, Ryan St. Hill, Bruce Gray, and Treyvon Manning, finished third in the meet. The team finished witha combined time of 1:30.83.

Greenville had a few other athletes gain points forthe team. Josh Garcia placed 9th in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 23.02, Josh Dees finished in 7th in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 1:59.54, and the GC team placed in the top ten in Distance Medley, 4x800 Meter Relay, and the 4x400 Meter Relay.
