Men's Soccer Rises to No. 7 in Latest NCCAA National Poll

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The Greenville men's soccer team has received votes to rise to No. 7 in the latest NCCAA Division I men's soccer poll. The Panthers were previously ranked No. 9.The squad received 21 points in the voting. Cedarville earned the No. 1 position with 70 points.Last week, Greenville defeated MacMurray 3-0 and tied SLIAC regular season champion Webster 0-0 in two overtimes.This season the Panthers hold a record of 13-3-4. They open postseason play Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the semifinals of the SLIAC Tournament at Soccer Park against Fontbonne. The match begins at 2 p.m.
