Men’s Track And Field Participates at Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. Greenville Mens Indoor Track and Field traveled to Monmouth College to compete in the Fighting Scot Invitational on Saturday. The GC men were led by Coree Woltering who claimed the top spot in the 800m run with a time of 1:56.68.
The 55m dash proved to be one of the Panthers strongest events of the day with three men qualifying for finals. Junior Brian White entered finals with the second fastest time (6.52) but was held out for injury preventative reasons, while senior Mark Mitchell and freshman Josh Garcia finished second and third respectively.
Warith Fennoy claimed another first place finish with his effort of 455 in the triple jump.
Overall the men finished the day with 16 NCCAA qualifiers.
Greenville College Mens Indoor Track and Field will next gear up for the NCCAA Indoor Championships Saturday, February 19 taking place on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan.
