Men’s Track and Field Takes 9th at the St. Louis Invitational

ST. LOUIS, Mo.-- The Greenville College Track and Field team traveled to Washington University and finished 9th out of the 33 teams that took part in the meet.

Bruce Gray was the top finisher for Greenville, earning 10 points for his first place finish in the Men's 100 Meter Dash. He had a final time of 10.57.

The Greenville Men's 4x100 Meter Relay team gained 10 points for the Panthers when they finished in second, just behind an unattached team. The team consisted of Gray, Josh Garcia, Ryan St. Hill, and Treyvon Manning, who finished with a combined time of 41.71.

Josh Kuusisto got 8 GC points when he finished second in the Hammer Throw after he recorded a distance of 57.83m.

Bryan Waugh earned another point for the Panthers, when he finished eighth in the Discus Throw. He nabbed the point after a throw of 41.80m.

Greenville's 29 points put them in 9th place out of the 33 teams that competed.

The team will travel to Washington University once again on April 6 to compete in the Washington University Select.
