Meredith Banal Named SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville College's Meredith Banal, a junior from Vandalia, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of November 19-25.Banal, a guard, shot 11-of-16 (.688) from the field, 4-of-5 (.800) from behind the arc and 5-of-6 (.833) from the free throw line to lead the Panthers with 31 points in their first win of the season, a 67-50 victory versus Knox College. Banal also added six steals and two rebounds in the win.
