Natalie Lappe Named SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville College's Natalie Lappe, a senior from Greenville, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 8-14.Lappe, a midfielder, had five goals and three assists in three games played last week, including game-winning goals versus both Eureka College and Fontbonne University. She recorded a hat trick with three goals and one assist in a 8-3 win versus Eureka. She then had one goal and one assist as the Panthers defeated Fontbonne 2-1. Lappe also added one goal and one assist in a 3-0 shutout versus non-conference opponent Bethany College (Kan.).Lappe, who is among the conference leaders with 22 goals and seven assists this season, currently has a 14-game scoring streak, including at least one goal versus every SLIAC team the Panthers have faced thus far.
