New Identity, Same Tradition

Simple, distinct, memorable, timelessno, we're not talking about fashion inspired by Audrey Hepburn here; we're talking about GC's new logo. As Greenville College approaches its official transition in identity to Greenville University in 2017, we've updated our logo's look. Here's a sneak peek!
The College also revealed a version of this logo that it will use in the interim (below). The transition in identity to university is part of GC's five-year Strategic Plan.
The new logo depicts the entrance of the Ruby E. Dare Library. The arches represent the doorway to knowledge on campus. The cross at the center of the logo imitates the natural cross that forms in the window panes of the glass at the library's entrance. The combination of these two elementsdepictthe integration of faith and learning, the core of our institution.
