Science and Religion Colloquium with Special Guest Dr. Karl Gilberson

Are science and religion at war? Hear one expert's analysis of the question at a public colloquium on November 9 at Greenville College. Dr. Karl Giberson is a leading voice in America's creation-evolution controversy. He will present at 5:30 p.m. in Snyder Hall, room 104.
Giberson has published more than 150 articles, reviews and essays and is the author or coauthor of five books including one of the Washington Post's Best Books of 2008, "Saving Darwin: How to be a Christian and Believe in Evolution." He is vice president of the BioLogos Foundation and teaches at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA.
Giberson's colloquium is presented by the Greenville Religion and Science Society, a local faith and science initiative of Greenville College intended to serve the college and surrounding community by providing opportunities for engagement with issues related to Christian faith and science through lectures, films, readings and discussion groups. All society events are open to the public with local clergy and laity especially encouraged to attend.
