St. Hill and Wilson Named SLIAC Men’s Athletes of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the spring sports players of the week for the week of March 21-27. Claiming the honor in Mens Track & Field is Greenvilles freshman Ryan St. Hill and junior Alex Wilson.

Greenville College's Ryan St. Hill, a freshman from Jennings, Mo., has been named the SLIAC Men's Track Performer of the Week for the week of March 21-27.

St. Hill placed fifth out of 18 runners in the 100 meter dash at the Wash. U. Mini Meet with a time of 11.53 in a race that was run in extremely cold and windy conditions. Three competitors from University of Wisconsin-Platteville placed ahead of him, along with a sprinter from Anderson College in the top spot.

Greenville College's Alex Wilson, a junior from Leoti, Kan. (Greeley County), has been named the SLIAC Men's Field Performer of the Week for the week of March 21-27.

Wilson claimed the top spot in the javelin throw at the Wash. U. Mini Meet with a final throw of 48.85m. He defeated 10 other competitors coming from Wheaton College, Washington U., Anderson College and University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
