Stefan Neece Named SLIAC Baseball Hitter of the Week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Greenville College's Stefan Neece, a junior from Greenville, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of April 21-27. Neece, the Panthers' first baseman, hit .625 in seven games played last week, while leading Greenville to a 6-1 record for the week. He went 10-for-16 at the plate with 12 runs scored, 10 RBI, 3 home runs, one double, one triple, reached base on balls a total of nine walks and struck out only once. Neece recorded a hit in every game but one. He had two home runs and four RBI in Greenville's 10-0 victory at MacMurray. He then had three hits, one home run, one RBI and four runs scored in a 12-4 win versus Fontbonne.
