Tis GC’s Break for Christmas

Tis GC's break for Christmas, and all through the grounds,
Not a student is lurking, now silence resounds.
The dorms are locked tight and cleaned out with care,
Expectingnext semester fresh smellswill bethere.

Faculty and staff have left with arms in the air,
Proclaiming , "half the year's done!" yet fully aware,
It's time for regrouping and regaining strength,
Then back to the grindstone that's four months in length.

Enjoy this short season with family and friends,
And remember His birth, on which it depends.
Be thankful for blessings, the big and the small.
Merry Christmas from Greenville to one and all!
