Two Greenville College Panthers Named UMAC Player of the Week

Greenville College's Anthony Ambers, a senior running back from Apple Valley, CA and Luis Diaz a freshman kicker and punter from Santa Anna, CA have been named the Football Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Week for the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
Ambers was dominating is the 41-35 Panther win over Anderson University on Saturday. He collected 252 yards on 30 carries, averaging 8.4 yards per carry and scored four rushing touchdowns.
Diaz was 2 for 3 on field goals in the win against Anderson. With his five PAT's Diaz scored 11 points against the Ravens. A dual threat kicker/punter, two of his three punts were inside the 20-yard line and his longest of the day was 50 yards. Diaz kicked off eight times with an average of 61.4 yards per kick.
This is the first award for both players this season.
