Women's basketball falls at Westminster

FULTON, Mo. -- The women's basketball team jumped out to a 25-17 first quarter lead but allowed Westminster to battle back as they lost 78-64 on the road Saturday.
Greenville trailed 39-31 at halftime, but cut Westminster's lead to two going into the fourth quarter. Westminster outscored Greenville 26-14 in the final stanza.
Laura Goodnight was the leading scorer for Greenville with 16 points. Kelly Lenz added 13 points, and Missy Deal tacked on 12.
Lenz led Greenville with six rebounds, and Maria Reinhard tallied four assists.
The Lady Panthers (4-2, 1-1 SLIAC) travel to Illinois-Springfield on Tuesday night.
