Women’s soccer picks up shutout against Fontbonne

GREENVILLE, Ill. The womens soccer team bounced back from Thursdays loss with a 2-0 win over Fontbonne on Saturday.
Greenvilles Kieley Leach picked up the game winning goal in the 22nd minute with an assist from Tymber Gabbert.
Whitney Warner got the insurance goal in the 82nd minute as Dani Pearce assisted.
Goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff earned the shutout with three saves.
The Lady Panthers (6-4-3, 3-1 SLIAC) hold the fourth place position in the conference standings, and they travel to Principia on Tuesday.
