Women's track and field sends two to Wisconsin - Stevens Point

Results

STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- The women's track and field team sent Brooke Goodyear and Lia Kruse to the Wisconsin - Stevens Point last chance meet where they competed in the one mile run.

Goodyear finished 22nd for the Lady Panthers as she completed the race in 5:34.

Kruse was 26th across the finish line in 5:37.74 in a close finish between the 24th through 26th place runners.

Lady Panther standout Chelsea Gilles did not participate in the meet due to injury. She met the qualifying standards in the 200 meter dash but will not compete due to injury.

The Lady Panthers will not see any action at the NCAA Division III indoor championships. Their outdoor season begins on Friday, March 25, at Washington-St. Louis.
