GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team was well-represented in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference postseason awards list. In addition to the regular season and conference tournament championships, a trio from Greenville College brought home top conference honors -- Jamie Schollenbruch, the defensive player of the year, Riley Hannula, the newcomer of the year, and Tom Ackerman, the coach of the year.

Schollenbruch, a senior from Decatur, Ill., took home the SLIAC defensive player of the year award for the second year in a row. She becomes the first player in the history of the award to win multiple times. Schollenbruch was a constant on the defensive side of the ball for the Panthers, averaging 5.27 digs per set and totaling 527 digs during the regular season.

Hannula, a freshman from Kaneville, Ill., is the 2015 SLIAC newcomer of the year. Hannula played in all 29 matches this season as a true freshman, recording 209 kills while hitting .341, fourth best in the SLIAC. Hannula also finished fourth in the conference in total blocks with 82. She averaged 2.09 kills and 2.8 points per set. Hannula is the sixth Panther, and second consecutive, to take home the conference Newcomer of the Year award.

The 2015 SLIAC Coach of the Year is Greenville College head coach Tom Ackerman. Ackerman led the Panthers to a 22-7 overall record and first-place in the SLIAC with a 17-1 record. This is the sixth consecutive year the Panthers have captured at least a share of the SLIAC regular season title, a conference record. This is the fifth time in his coaching career Ackerman has been named the SLIAC Coach of the Year. He also won in 2002, 208, 2010, and 2013.

First team all-conference honors went to sophomore Allyson Mitchell and Schollenbruch.

Hannula earned a position on the second team, and juniors Kirsten Laune and Savannah Sells received third team honors.

The 2015 All-Sportsmanship team included senior Hannah Baker.
