Women's Indoor Track & Field Prepares for NCCAA's; Grant Dominates at Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. Greenvilles Penny Grant led the womens indoor track and field squad in Saturdays Fighting Scot Invitational, finishing one, two, and three in her events.
Grant took home the top spot in the 200M with a finals time of 26.21, second place in the 50M with a mark of 7.97, and posted a leap of 5.56M in the long jump to claim third.
No team scores were recorded at Saturdays indoor meet.
Greenville College womens indoor track and field will now shift their sights to Saturdays NCCAA Championships held on the campus of Cedarville. GC will showcase 15 women and will rely on the leadership of the squads upperclassman to pace the team in the Indoor meet.
"We are looking to our Seniors to step up and carry us on Saturday," commented GC women's asssitant coach Tara Grant. "Our indoor season, for many, has been building for this moment and I think our women are ready."
