Women's Soccer Overtaken by Culver-Stockton

CANTON, Mo.-- The Lady Panthers could not tame the Culver-Stockton Wildcats, coming home with a 4-1 loss.
The Wildcats scored two goals in the first half and added two more in the second. Both Brittney McMahon and Jordan Sergihad two goals each for Culver-Stockton, with Alyssa Houska and Sarah Allen being credited with the assists.
GC's only goal of the match was scored by Kelsey Panzau, who shot a rocket from outside the 18 yard line in the 53rd minute. This was Panzau's second goal of the season. GC goalkeeper, Heidi Koehl recorded 9 saves in the match.
This result brings the team's record to 3-5-1. They start SLIAC play Saturday, Sept. 29 when they travel to Louisville, Kentucky to take on Spalding.
