Women’s Track and Field Goes to St. Louis Invitational

ST. LOUIS, Mo.--TheGreenvilleteam traveled to Washington University and finished 18th out of 36 teams that competed in the meet.

The Lady Panthers were impressive in the Hammer Throw, with both Maggie McMurtrey and Haley Fahnstrom earning points for GC in the event. McMurtrey came in second overall, earning 8 points for Greenville, with a throw of 46.52m. Fahnstrom finished in sixth place for 3 points, with her throw going a distance of 43.43m.

GC's 11 points put them in 18th place out of the 35 teams that competed.

The GC women will return to Wash U on April 6 when they compete in the Washington University Select.
