Women's Track and Field Send Throwers to Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn.-- The GC Women's Track and Field team sent their throwers to Memphis, Tenn. to compete in the Rhodes College Open Meet on March 16. Both Ali Potthast and Abby Hill had impressive performances at the meet.

Potthast placed 8th in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 26.68m. Potthast also participated in the Women's Hammer Throw and recorded a throw of 29.46m earning her the 17th place spot.

Hill also competed in the Javelin Throw and Hammer Throw, placing 3rd in the Hammer and 12th in the Javelin. She threw the javelin 24.88m and the hammer an impressive 42.61m.
