Women’s Track & Field: Grant Again Named SLIAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Ill. - Greenville College's Penny Grant, a junior from Beardstown, Ill., has been named the SLIAC Women's Field Performer of the Week for the week of March 28-April 3. This marks the second consecutive week that she has earned the honor.

Grant placed second out of 10 competitors in the triple jump at the WUSTL Invitational with a NCAA provisional mark of 38'11". It also ranks her fourth in NCAA DIII and broke the school record by more than two feet. Grant also placed second in the long jump with a distance of 18'1.5".

Greenville finished seventh out of 24 teams competing with a team score of 51.
