Greenville University student named Bond County Fair QueenGreenville University junior Gracie Lindley was named Bond County Fair Queen on Monday.

The elementary education major was selected from six candidates vying for the title. No stranger to the pageant, Lindley participated in the Little Miss event in 2009, was named Junior Miss in 2017, and was first runner-up in the queen contest last year.

At GU, Lindley is involved in the Outdoor Adventure Club and Project LEAD (Leaders in Education Advocating for Diversity), which encourages members to consider diversity and equity issues in education.

The 20-year-old is the daughter of Randie and Tom Lindley of Greenville. Randie is the payroll coordinator at GU.

Another GU student, Emma Ketten, was named Miss Congeniality in Monday’s pageant. She is a sophomore, also majoring in education.
