Greenville University Alum Dr. Michael Bond Joins Heart to Heart Hospice as Chief Medical Officer and National Medical Director

Heart to Heart Hospice, a leader in hospice services since 2003, announced the appointment of Dr. Michael M. Bond ’92, DO, FAAFP, as its new chief medical officer and national medical director. Dr. Bond brings nearly twenty years of experience in end-of-life care and a strong background in family medicine, emergency medicine, and hospice and palliative care medicine.
Dr. Bond joins Heart to Heart Hospice from Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, where he served as chief medical officer and medical director. In his previous role, he oversaw medical operations, regulatory compliance, and staff development. He also led new program development to innovate multidisciplinary end-of-life care.
Dr. Bond earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology before receiving his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency training in family medicine at the Jacksonville Naval Hospital in Florida.
In addition to his extensive medical experience, Dr. Bond serves on the Board of Trustees for Midwestern University, continuing his commitment to advancing healthcare and education.
