GU ALUMNI, A STORIED LEGACY: QUICK, BE PART OF THE STORY!
Published: October 14, 2024
Greenville University's story may have begun in 1892, but its alumni and students keep adding chapters. What’s yours? GU wants to know.
The University has just launched an initiative to celebrate and share alumni’s personal accounts of transformation and calling during their “Greenville years.”
The project, “Greenville Alumni: A Storied Legacy,” supports GU’s Rise Up 2030 strategic plan.
WHAT’S YOUR STORY?
Alumni tales of personal transformation inspire and encourage others. They give hope and make us laugh. They remind us of GU’s mission to develop Christ-like character and hearts to serve.
- Some involve influential professors.
- Some capture life-changing relationships.
- Some stem from chapel services and field trips.
- Many flow from simple conversations on steps or in dorm rooms.
What’s your story? We want to know. Staff and volunteers are eager to learn your story at Homecoming this week. Visit our video booth on campus in the Tidball Alumni House on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., to share yours.
SHARE YOUR STORY AT HOMECOMING AND GET A GIFT
GU’s Rise Up 2030 plan recognizes that God still rolls away stones and breathes new life into our extended university community.
Visit the Alumni House at Homecoming and tell us how God used a Greenville experience to roll away a stone in your life. How did He bring new light and breathe new life into your story? As a thank-you, we’ll give you a GU-branded chair or blanket.
Thanks for enriching others with your tale.
