Published: November 25, 2024

This Saturday, November 30th, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the City of Greenville, with support from local businesses, will host Come Home for Christmas 2024! This Greenville Christmas tradition will bring back many favorite features including the Lighted Parade, the Model Train Display, the Iceless Ice-Skating Rink and the Greenville High School FFA’s Petting Zoo. There will be a “Kids’ Corner” at Peoples State Bank and the Mouse House returns and will be hosted by the Avenue Event Venue on College Avenue. We’ll have more food and beverage vendors this year plus several local churches will have free offerings of food and cocoa. Craft vendors will also be on hand to help you you’re your gift shopping. Music will fill the air with BCAT spreading seasonal cheer with Christmas carols and WGRN providing music for the skaters. The Greenville Artist Guild will host there “Small Works” Christmas Edition Art Show at Maves Art Center. The DeMoulin Museum will become Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland. The beautiful Bond County Museum will have an Open House and don’t forget to finish the evening at the American Farm Heritage Museum’s “Christmas Lights Wonderland.” Santa will be available on the patio of the SMART Center following the parade. Plus… Jeff Chapman will perform his Christmas show on stage at The Lunch Company (first floor of the SMART Center) at 6:30!

If we experience inclement weather, the skating rink will be moved indoors to the First United Methodist Church on Second Street and Santa will be moved to the lobby of the SMART Center.
