SMALL WORKS ART SHOW COMES TO GREENVILLE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

The Greenville Artist Guild, in association with the annual ”Come Home For Christmas” event in downtown Greenville, launches its winter “Small Works” art exhibition and sale at the Maves Art Center, 108 Beaumont Avenue, beginning November 29, 2024.

Opening reception is Saturday, Nov 30, 6-8 pm

Regular show hours are:
Friday, Nov 29, 12-4 pm
Saturday, Nov 30, 2-8 pm, Reception from 6-8 pm
Friday, Dec 6, 12-4 pm
Saturday, Dec 7, 12-4 pm

“Small Works” refers to the size limitation for artwork, which is no larger than 12 inches by 12 inches unframed. Members of the guild and other local artists will present works for viewing and sale for Christmas shopping. This is a “Grab and Go” event, which means selections may be removed from the show at the time of purchase. Celebrate the season with unique treasures coming soon at the Maves Art Center.

The Greenville Artist Guild welcomes all artists aged 18 and over. At our monthly meetings, artists share their ideas and artwork for group enjoyment. All media and technique are accepted for gentle critique if desired. The group experiments with many different media as a way of stretching into new territory.

The event is free and open to the public.
