Men's Basketball Overtakes Elmhurst 71-66

FULTON, Mo-- The Panthers earned a road win against Elmhurst, recording their first win of the season in their second game of 2013.

Greenville outscored Elmhurst 34-19 in the first half. The opponents fought back in the second half, but the impressive lead proved to be enough for the Panthers to hold on and they took the game 71-66.

Ron Harris had another impressive performance, recording 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals in the game.  Michael Hohm added 14 points for Greenville and Alex Mumphard contributed another 13 points and 5 rebounds. 

The win brings Greenville to a 1-1 record to start their season. They will take the court again on Tuesday, November 19 at 7:00pm when they travel to Lincoln Christian in hopes of getting another hard-earned road victory.
