Welcome to our community

Welcome Fontbonne students!

Though Griffins and Panthers may have competed on the fields and courts over the years, today we stand with you as fellow students, faculty, staff, and administrators who are saddened that an institution in our region is closing its doors, and that the school students intended to graduate from when they started college, will not fulfill that dream. 

Greenville University has been identified as having the necessary experience, resources, and support services to provide degree programs that are of acceptable quality and reasonably similar in content, structure, and scheduling to those provided by Fontbonne University. Greenville University will therefore provide teach out instruction to students from Fontbonne. 

Welcome to the GU family. 

 

TRANSITION FACTS:

  • Apply and be accepted to GU
  • All current credits from Fontbonne will transfer to GU
  • Fontbonne students will NOT be required to pay a deposit to enroll at GU
  • GU will match Fontbonne's out-of-pocket tuition and fee costs and will charge no more than GU charges its currently enrolled students.
  • GU will make a good-faith effort to work to allow Fontbonne students to graduate on the same schedule as anticipated by Fontbonne
